Were You Not Allowed..?

At the basket ball team
Because you were short,
Or were you told you were slim
For a dancing lot.

Maybe you were denied a room
Because you were black,
Or told to broom
Or get some whack.

Does your boss exclude you from raise
And force you to do some overtime work,
You show talent – but you are asked to show a pretty face
Or maybe do some twerk.

Don’t touch this
Don’t eat that,
You are born to miss
Do nothing aside being sat.

You are less than other
Even if you are a mother,
Shut up and don’t rebel
Or you will be oppressed till your cell.

But trust me, you are amazing. Believe and keep pushing forward with the card you have been dealt with.
