You are the one who needs to push your own boat. Others may or may not help you. If you depend on the external factors then it would be tough for you.
The momentum of moving ahead in life is crucial. It is at peak when you pull the trigger yourself. There is no one who would come to rescue you. Your work – you should take the responsibility and do it. That’s it. No excuses.
For example, if you want to design a new website. Don’t depend on your best friend or family members. Don’t assume that they will come and help you. You wanted to do something, take up the lessons and start doing. It is essential that you consider yourself the only savior.
This way there isn’t any blame game. You don’t end up blaming others for your task not moving forward. If it fails, you are the sole responsible.
Our life consists of building blocks. You want to move from current situation to something awesome. That is cool. Wanting something great isn’t bad. However if you just happen to hope that it will come to you then it will be a bummer.
Keep on upgrading yourself so you can leverage your success to get more of it. There is a saying, “Money attracts more money”.
On similar lines, your success will attract more of it. You need to learn to leverage and showcase your success so that people will come to you, help you and make you achieve bigger things.
Remember you need to do your own work when you are starting out. Once you hit some success, you can leverage that, your connection or the knowledge to move higher. It is up to you how you build on your assets.
You got all your preparation done, wrote all the things you learnt and applied your wisdom. Doing all these things still couldn’t guarantee success or satisfaction.
Majority of the times the only emotion you might encounter is disappointment. The world is cruel, life is hard and success takes heck lot of time.
There are 2 things you can do –
- You can cry about it and quit early OR
- You can take it positively and keep trying with learning and improving at stages.
Most of us choose the first one because it is easy and we think trying once and failing is the ultimate decision. It isn’t.
Remember there is no one you can tell you to quit or slow down except you. If you believe in yourself and keep working on your craft then slowly and steadily you will win.
